DO you get an error like this?
An error occurred during a connection to yourdomain.com:2002. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length. Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG
Trying to access webuzo on your hosting using your SSL certificate is not that difficult as you may think.
Let us assume you already successfully installed your ssl certificate to your web hosting and you are accessing your webuzo using https://yourdomain.com:2002, this will not work as port 2002 and port 2004 is for http only.
Use 2003 and 2005 for https. It should work unless you haven’t properly configured your SSL certificate.
Once you have your self-signed cert active and running, and you can properly operate webuzo from 2003 and 2005, block 2002 and 2004 from CSF, for the outside chance that you might accidentally use those plain-text HTTP ports absent-mindedly or whatever.
and that’s it. Thanks and have a great day!
